Cosmetic Procedures

Botox

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a substance approved to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults. Over time, repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, and smiling cause creasing in the skin. BOTOX® targets this underlying cause of frown lines and crow’s feet when it is injected into these muscles to temporarily reduce muscle activity. The result is a smoothing and reduction in the appearance of these lines beginning within 24 to 48 hours for a rejuvenated, more youthful look for up to 4 months!

Your doctor will take time to fully discuss your treatment objectives and carefully plan your procedure to define the most appropriate treatment areas. Our physicians are highly trained in BOTOX® treatment techniques and will assist you in achieving optimal results. Treatment is quick and requires minimal downtime or recovery.

Juvéderm® XC

Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid filler used to smooth and soften moderate to severe wrinkles around the mouth and nose. It is ideal for correcting smile lines (parentheses around the mouth), corner lip lines, vertical lip lines, and marionette lines which occur from both our facial movements and the decrease of hyaluronic acid and collagen found naturally in the skin over time. Results are instant, natural looking and can last for up to one year when treated optimally. Juvéderm® XC is a non-surgical treatment performed by our trained dermatologists during a brief office visit and contains the anesthetic lidocaine to make the injection more comfortable.

Juvéderm Voluma® XC

Voluma® is a hyaluronic acid filler that is the first FDA-approved filler to add volume to the cheek area and help correct the loss of fullness in the face. Over time, cheeks lose their fullness and skin begins to flatten. Juvéderm Voluma® XC helps to lift and contour the cheeks to restore their natural shape and add youthful volume to the face. As the cheeks are lifted, it also can help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Juvéderm Voluma® XC is a non-surgical treatment performed by our trained dermatologists during a brief office visit and contains the anesthetic lidocaine to make the injection more comfortable.

Restylane

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid gel filler used to treat moderate to severe facial lines, wrinkles and folds. It is specifically created to act like the body’s own naturally occurring hyaluronic acid which begins to diminish as we age creating fine lines and wrinkles. With optimal treatment, Restylane can last up to 18 months. Our physicians can perform the treatments during a regular office visit and contains the anesthetic lidocaine to make the treatment more comfortable.

Belotero Balance®

Belotero injectable gel is an advanced treatment that utilizes hyaluronic acid differently in the body. This facial filler is designed to integrate with your skin’s tissue to fill gaps smoothing moderate to severe facial lines. Belotero does not interfere with your face’s natural movements and expressions and feels natural to the touch. Specifically, Belotero can smooth smile lines (parentheses around the mouth), corner lip lines, vertical lip lines, marionette lines, and chin wrinkle. It can be injected during a brief office visit and results can last up to 6 months.

KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) injection is the first and only FDA-approved non-surgical injectable treatment that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness, sometimes referred to as “double chin”. The active ingredient in KYBELLA®, deoxycholic acid, is a molecule that occurs naturally in the body. Its primary function is to aid in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a treatment that involved a topically applied solution that helps to rejuvenate the skin surface by creating an even and controlled shedding of the skin cells. This allows new layers to be exposed which creates a fresh appearance and smoother texture to the skin surface. In addition, collagen is stimulated which promotes greater cell turnover in the skin creating a more even tone. Overall, chemical peels can help to improve the appearance of mild to severe skin imperfections including fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage including brown spots, uneven skin tone and texture, acne scarring, and pigmentary changes.

Our aesthetician offers a variety of chemical peels to suit all skin needs and are sold individually or in packages for your convenience. These include:

  • SkinMedica Vitalize and Rejuvenize Peels - highest-quality, medical grade chemical peels

  • Beta Peels - specifically for acne treatment

  • “Peels for Heels” - a rejuvenative foot treatment

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a skin treatment which involves using a jet of fine crystals that polish the surface of the skin, removing dead skin cells and stimulating collagen growth. The result is smoother, more radiant skin with a reduction in the appearance of sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles and superficial acne scarring. There is little to no downtime after this non-invasive procedure making it a great treatment for all skin types. We offer treatments individually or in packages for your convenience.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a popular method of eliminating spider veins by injecting a solution into the blood vessels, causing them to close off and fade away. The vein is then absorbed by the body as a natural healing process with the final results within 4 to 6 weeks after treatment. Support stockings are worn for 7 to 10 days following the procedure to aid in compressing the treatment areas. Often 2 to 4 treatment sessions are recommended to achieve optimal results.

Eclipse PRP™

Eclipse PRP™ is a platelet rich plasma collection system that offers superior quality and quantity. PRP is utilized by health professionals in their practices for various applications. The PRP is prepared by taking a small sample of the patient’s own blood, then separating platelets from platelet poor plasma (PPP), RBC and GR’s via centrifugation. The platelet rich plasma is then collected and can be applied.

As part of the body’s natural healing ability, platelets and other components in human blood migrate to the point of care. Platelets are well known to release numerous growth factors that respond to tissue injury and initiate and promote the conditions for healing.

The whole PRP harvest and preparation process is simple and the entire procedure typically takes approximately 30 minutes.

Eclipse PRP™ system has been safely used in hundreds of procedures worldwide.
